How we should view and approach work?

We Should ...

- View our work as worship & sacred - When we view our work as worship, we will seek to offer God excellent work that makes Him famous; our excellence will be a humble excellence that exalts Christ, not ourselves.
- Approach our work as holy priests who serve the living God - As priests, we are to approach our work with a certain holiness: i.e., morality or ethic. This approach kills the miminalism that so often invades work places: people doing the minimal amount of work, while demanding the highest possible pay.
- Do our work for the benefit of others, this is our Joy - We don't choose careers based on the maximum possible salary; we choose our careers based upon how God has gifted us, which is evident in the things we enjoy.
- Love what we are doing - As we view our work as worship and approach it as priests, looking to benefit others rather than ourselves, we will experience two benefits: joy and witness. Work as worship will be our joy and those around us will see in us something this world cannot offer - Jesus Christ.
- Do it all for the Glory of God - That His name would become famous.
